After my last Zerode Katipo doing me so well for nearly 4 years, it’s time for a new one! Here it is, straight out of the box.

This is my favorite bike that I have ever ridden! Like I said, I had the same bike before, rode it for 4 years, and this one has the same bones. BUT, this new beauty has a new suspension set up and everything is fresh! Coming into summer, I expect that I will be riding it on average, about 5 times a week when I am taking lessons, guiding, and just riding for fun.
Check out the video above to see what comes in the box and how easy it is to put together. Check out the build options for your own Zerode Katipo here at https://zerodebikes.com/katipo

The Zerode story is super cool too. Zerode began here in Rotorua and the bikes were designed by a local, Rob Metz, who has had a lot to do with a lot of the trails in the Redwoods as well. Check out the bike HERE and the Zerode story HERE. These bikes are leading the way for performance, durability and reliability. As someone who uses their bike every day for work, I couldn’t imagine being back on a conventional derailleur set up with all of the cleaning and tuning and maintaining that needs to happen. The ride has been simplified ever since I made the move to buy this bike.
Get in touch with either us or Zerode if you are looking at demoing one of their bikes on one of our trips. We offer lessons and tours of up to 7 days!
