BrakeAce sensors will change the way we ride. It has already changed the way we teach in our lessons. BrakeAce sensors give actionable feedback, paired with input from a coach, they are guaranteed to enhance your riding giving you a better experience. Riding smoothly means riding more efficiently, more relaxed, and generally faster.
We use this tool to analyze not only our braking but our overall riding to see where our key opportunities are to improve. This helps us help you to become a more confident and better rider.
At the end of the day, riding is meant to be fun – watch here for a great example of us doing just that!
Rotorua Trails Trust
Keeping our local trails running mint
The Rotorua Trails Trust works hard to enhance the user experience of all recreational users, including mountain bikers.
The trust work with iwi and other landowners, local council, DoC, and recreational and environmental groups to communicate and keep the progression happening and everyone working/playing in harmony.
Not only do they liaise with all parties involved with Whakarewarewa Forest including the landowners (yes, the trails are on private land) and council. The Trust is also an advocate for new and better trails and new uses of trails. They do an amazing job of developing and managing trails and are always seeking funding, and sponsorships to keep the forest free for all users.
We are members of the trust and have adopted a couple of trails to help keep them running mint as well as supporting their dig days and other members with member discounts. See the trails here in these videos!
THE best online bike shop in the world
Based in the United States, Worldwide Cyclery was a natural partner for us. Their customer service is simply outstanding, they LOVE what they do, they are complete bike nerds and their online content is informative and hilarious.
Every few years we run a Hero Dirt (enduro) trip in collaboration with Worldwide Cyclery (that’s the owner Jeff Cayley on the Moerangi Trail) and it’s always a blast! Check ’em out: www.worldwidecyclery.com/
Here is a video from Jeff’s trip with us.
